Buffalo Ranch Trained Buffalo

of Afton on Route 66, offered many attractions to tourists and locals.
Included among these was the trained buffalo. Ed Gibson, Gibson Studio, Grove, Oklahoma, had a unique ability to see an image, as it presented itself, and the foresight to photograph numerous subjects. Through the years, Ed captured such a variety of images that his work is well know in the area and beyond. Many postcards from the area were produced by the studio and sold in the lake area, as well as far and wide. |
