East side of North Main Street, looking north from the
current highway.  This block has been referred to
as the "Post Office Block", possibly because the
Post Office appeared in this block at one time.  This
photo shows the Bank of Afton, a millinery shop,
real estate office, barber shop and theater, as well
as the telephone company.
The photo is estimated to be about 1910.
